Most people know that I'm not a huge fan of California Chardonnay's. This is one of those rare cases when I actually found a nice Chardonnay from the central coast. Wine sees no oak at all and is 40% malolactic. Soft yellow in color, it has a great nose of light butter and crisp green apples. Just as on the nose, wine is crisp on the palate with a light bite to it. Slight hints of kiwi and tropical fruit. On the finish, it is pure and simple (not is bad way) with a light touch of green juice. Aged in stainless steel for 8 months. I like it.
