The 05 Franciscan Cabernet is one that is almost blood red in color. Has a nose of spices, light metallic notes with hints of blueberry. Medium dry on the palate, hard as iron tannins with a really odd iodine finish. Wine seemed pretty hot and had a lot of oak. Strange since it is only 13.5% alcohol. Not really one of my favorites.
