This is a great little Riesling from Nik. Weis, the winemaker from St. Urbans-Hof. This is his own selection of Riesling in which I am in love with, and after the tasting I had on Saturday, most of my customers are as well.
Light mineral notes with hints of fresh rain with a light sulphur note. This is a good thing. On the palate, wow! Fresh and crisp on the palate with a nice lingering notes of light white fruit.
This would be a great wine for some spicey Thia dish or just sitting on the back porch with some friends. I tasted this with Nik when he visited NY and it was just bottled. It was amazing then and it still now.
