This is made with 100% Sangiovese and 100% love!!!I have been wanting to try this wins for awhile now, but never had the chance to until now. The color of this gem has some brown notes on the rim but is pretty solid in the center. It might be starting to show is age (10 years) but the nose and the palate are a different story.
The nose had some nice floral notes with some light dried herbs in the center. As for the palate, there is a helping of spices and oak just begging to be consumed. Great balance and acidity should keep this wine holding up for another 5 years. Light red fruit on the finish as she tends to slip away softly into the night.
