A nice wine form Barossa Valley, Eight Uncles is damn near black in the center with a deep red rim. On the nose, this wine smells like brown sugar, spices with a light green Nyquil scent. I actually like it even though I hate the smell of Nyquil!BOOM, this is pretty big on the palate with a ton of black fruit and oak. There is a very small amount of sugar lingering around though. Pretty good balance with a alcohol percentage of 14.5% that does not taste like it.
Wine would go great with grilled red meat.
