This will be the second time I tasted the 1955 Chateau Latour. This time was a bit better than the last. Brown on the rim with a brick red center. Notes of iron & strong mineral notes, light cherry and dried herbs. On the palate it was pretty soft and had light hints of tobacco. Last time I tasted this it was back in late 2006 with a fellow wine nerd. It was not showing well and had lost most of its glory.
