2005 Conserva Beatrice Annachiara Red Wine $19.99

Wine is a red blend of 40% Merlot, 20% Aglianico, 20% Sangiovese, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Brown in color on the rim and center shows that this wine is heading downhill and starting to shed its color. Medium body and acidity, the wine has some green plant notes with a light brown sugar palate. Not bad but it should be drunk in the next 2 years before it starts to head downhill really fast.

Wine is made with organic grapes and is Tarantino IGT.

Tasted 3/4/09 via Calypso Organic Selections
